Wyoming had a great run of talented athletes from 1960 to 1969. The Cowboys were led by six great football players at the quarterback position during this era. Bing Guckenberger, Bob Goodridge, Tom Crotty, Steve Lewis, Mark Schickner, and Mick Morrissey are all current members of the Wyoming High School Athletic Hall of Fame. They led Wyoming football to an 87% winning percentage throughout the decade. You would be hard pressed to find another school in Ohio, or anywhere, that has had a ten year period like the Cowboys did from 1960 through 1969. Coach Bob Lewis’ teams racked up 5 undefeated, untied seasons during the sixties. Wyoming won eight league titles in ten years. Losing only to big school powerhouses like Woodward, Princeton, Anderson and Colerain over the ten year period. Wins Losses Ties 1960 8 0 2 1961 8 1 1 1962 10 0 1663 10 0 1964 10 0 1965 8 1
